spots!

i havn't really suffered much from acne/spots, however it has become a problem for me a latly so i decided to buy some clearasil ultra gel. at first it looked like it was working then got worse, so after a week i stopped using it. do spot creams sometimes bring out spots before they get rid of spots, or is this just a bad reaction to the spot cream?
i start college in a month and really want to get rid of my spots, so any help/advise is appreciated. thanks.

i think you should go to your doctors. they can help you. but as for your question, no i dont think creams such as that make it worse before it gets better, i think that it may be an allergic reaction. if you dont want to see your doctor, you could call the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist.

part of me wants to start using the spot cream again to see what happens. perhaps but this time moisturise once a day also?

i think which u have done was quite a good response to take care of your spots but i would like to tell you instead of using these creams try some home made products,i would suggest you that put lemon on your face and you will see a good result . because i have also tried it and it worked for me, hopefully it will also help you...
