hi there, I kinda like long story, as I'm quick reader, I could finish a one-hundred word story in two hours, so I usually read big books, as long as it's not as difficult as Relativity

I don't care if it is big or small as long as it is interesting. Harry Potter 7's book is big and I stuck to it from the start and finished reading within one day. It is a big book. Lord of the Rings is a big book too, and to date, I have not even finished reading it.. after more than 4 years.

I am fond of reading books. It started when I was young during my schooldays, I particularly read story books that time. I also like reading stories from my new books even though we haven't taking that yet. Because of that, my love to reading grow, I read books that interest me, it doesn't matter if it is big or thick, as long as I like the story, I will definitely read and finish the book. If I really like a book, I read it over and over again. ^^

well, i like to read books but too long novels go back to the shelf before i finish reading them. it is not because of my being lazy but it is because of time constraints. even before i finish one i may get a new one which is smaller, so the tendency is to shift towards the new one and getting back the bigger one later.

I love big book! it makes me happy touching it and smelling it's paper (especially if that big book is a new one).. It looks really cool and classic to me and I collect them too! Big books usually not easy to damage and it contains complete story or helpful information.. I know it takes a long time to finish reading it but I'm happy and then save it in my special bookshelf for big books only.

I used to read classics, the hardcover big books before. I do like reading , and I used to read over every weekend in the past. That was when I was not so busy. But, these days I get so busy with my full time job, not time for reading big novels. I just read magazines and paperback books.

I love reading, and it is not very inportant to me if the book is thick or not, if it sounds interesting I would like to read it! When I was a teenager I read most of the books by Jean M. Auel ("The clan of the cave bear", "The valley of the horses", "The mammoth hunters" etc) There are many pages in each book, and I spent a lot of time on reading them, but I liked them, so the size or the time wasn't important to me. When I was a teenager I also read anotehr thick book and that was "The neverending story" by Michael Ende. I liked that story very much, and I read it more than once.

It depends upon the contents or the story in the book. I can read any book as long as I'm interested with it. I've had lots of thick books at home, and I've read them. I've read books as thick as the Bible. I've even read the Bible, I was fascinated by the stories they say it contains. It was my favorite book when I was 6 years old. No kidding! I was six, and everybody thought I'll become a pastor, or something like that (although now, I can't see how I'll end up being a minister of faith, seeing as I am not really a churchgoer) because there are times when I won't come out and play, because I was reading the Revelations, trying to learn more, deciphering the words and trying to interpret them in my own imaginative way. You could say I was sort of a nerd. Naw, that's not what I am now, everyone had realized I'm no angel or a genius anymore. On the other hand, I also have small books which until now I still haven't read because they are not interesting at all. They're gifts, from some aunts and uncles, and I really don't see the sense of giving books that are all about how to be righteous when they themselves can't be. The books my father bought me, I read, no matter how thick or small or whatever they may be. He knows what I like, and what books interests me, and what he bought for me are some of my favorites. He even bought me a sought of thick encyclopedia, I think that was a Science Library collection of 10 books. I've read it, and I liked it. It made me learn more than what my elementary teacher were teaching that time. The latest addition to my books are my law books, which I have to force myself to read. I don't like reading them, because it has no emotion or feelings, they just talk about laws and cases, without partiality. Well, I guess that's how the judicial system works. That's why Lady Justice is blindfolded, right? Happy MyLotting, Busky5!

I'm sorry to ask, but do you mean the size or the thickness of the book? To me, it doesn't matter how big or thick the book is as long as the content is good, I will definitely read it even though it may takes days to finish it. :) Normally, I will go through the synopsis first before I make a purchase or start my reading.

I was about to start this discussion.. it came over my mind while I was bathing! Anyway, I never like to read big book, I will never be able to finish it.. Even how much I love to read, I just don't have the patience in finishing a thick big book!

I love to read. I think for me, it's not the size of the book that really matters - it's what is in it. But, usually I do read longer books because they tend to be pretty good. I read pretty quickly, so it doesn't take me a terribly long time to finish anything. I can read a thick book in one afternoon if I just spend a few hours on it. It's probably one of my favorite rainy day activities.
