When you blow out your candles on your cake on your birthday, do you still make a wish each time? I haven't the last few years, but I did this year. And I was just wondering, for older people (as I am only 22) do you still make wishes when you blow out your birthday candles? Or is this just something wishful children do and people end up growing out of it? Do you still have cake? Do you still blow out candles at all?

Hi. BambooPanda13. I am 32 years old and I have not had a Birthday cake made for me in over, 11 years now. I know that children tend to blow out candles too. I have seen many adults do so as well. Hopefully, I can have a cake this year for my Birthday. If I have one, I will want to blow out all 33 of my candles.
