In great need of ideas!

I am going to my aunt's cabin in a few days and I need to think of some dishes to make while I am there. It is tradition that for every day that we are out there, a different person makes a meal. It works out so that we each have to cook 2 different meals while we are there. That normally isn't a problem but this year I decided that I wanted to make something new and different, the only trouble is, I can't think of anything. I was going to make a seafood dish but one of my aunts beat me to it, then I thought about making a dessert, but that too was taken. Now I am at a loss and have no idea what to make. Is there anyone out there who can help me? I need to think of something and fast, I leave in three days and not only to I have to go shopping for ingredients I also would like to make the dish for my husband to try out before I go. I would greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to help out and would be more than willing to return the favor with some of my recipies. Please help.
