are there any medical procedures that can be done to decide whether a female is still a virgin?

No, but I know a lot of women who are really good at "faking it." Some people believe that Gynecologists can tell with their special tools, but, I'm a bit weary of that. In the book, "Memoirs of a Geisha" the main character and her sister are taken to a special Dr. who is able to check if they are still "intact" or not. I however don't know what he looks for. Here in the states, health teachers are told to answer that question as a "no" when asked by students. There is no scientific proof that you are able to tell who is a virgin and who is not.

Really? I really didn't know that... I thought that the if you took a look, you would be able to tell if the person is a virgin or not. Wow, Learning new things everyday ^^
