Do you have to look at your keyboard while you're typing?

I sometimes have to look at the keys while I'm typing. However, most of the time I don't have to. It just seems like I know where the keys are. I guess after 13-14 years of practice, something like that will happen. I just have occasional slip-ups.

Oh, sometimes I do the same thing, I always look down for the numbers to make sure it's correct when I was typing a password.

For letters A-Z, no. Those are down to an art. For passwords, I don't really even think, it's more of an impulse. As for numbers, non relation to my password, yes. Numbers have been a challenge for me all along. I have all of the commands down as well (Ex: Ctrl C = Copy). I never use any of the F1-F12 keys. Does anyone ever use any of them?

I use F5 to refresh the screen when I'm using explorer. F11 will make Explorer go to Full Screen. I think F4 will pop open your URL bar. F1 will open up information when you're in Word. I'm not sure on the rest.

There are times that I have to look at the keyboard when I am typing. But just like you, most of the time I do not look at the keyboard anymore. The thing is, I have typing class when I was in high school. I also had several units of typing class during my college days upon taking up my accountancy course. I guess I am very much used to typing and is quite familiar with the home keys already. That is why, I can easily type without looking at the keyboard.

Hey, No I don't look at the keyboard when I am typing. The room could be all black and I would still be able to type good. You just need to learn how to touch-type, after a few months you will be all good. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Sometimes I look on the keyboard sometimes not. When I am typing something very important like communication and need to be done right away, I don't want to look on the keyboard and just keep on typing, there are some mistakes but very few. I think when we are working on the computer for so long we got to memorize the keyboard in the long run.

yes, after some years playing with the keyboard makes you familiar with the layout and could typing without seeing. But, sometime I do look at the keyboard when making mistake or just to make sure it is the right key to push. But, mostly I doesn't need to look at my keyboard. BR.b

When it comes to the letters I don't but the numbers, yes I do. I sometimes put my fingers on the wrong keys so my words end up looking like no words at all, just a jumbled up mess. I am really enjoying typing in here as it is someting I have always wanted to do. I just need to make sure I have my fingers on the right keys before I start. Have a great day, and happy mylotting.

I sometimes have to look at the keyboard for the either hard to reach keys or keys i rarely use when i type. But i try not to look at the keyboard most of the time. I'm getting much better at not looking at it now.

Sometimes I need to look at the number keys and other keys that are not letters because I don't use those keys often. Sometimes I type in the dark so I need to look at the keys.
