No we are not aware of the ratings gven to us by individual users. We can only see the result of all the ratings we receive which is expressed in the value of our star. http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq17.aspx

Glad to see you after a long time, dear friend mysdianait!I was really confused by that post and I am cursing myself for not learning to know the ratings we got, even after being here for so long time. So,I opened this discussion. Now I am clear that I am mislead by the post. Thanks for coming in to explain the facts.Cheers!

I have never gone far away but I guess our paths did not cross Notifiers don't help either as they are very sporadic and I am not always aware of discussions by my friends

You are right. Now a days our paths don't cross much so that we can be in the same discussion celebrating our presence.Earlier, there was our beloved friend "sanuanu" who was a nice platform for us to meet often.I really miss him.Hope you too will feel the same towards him.He was such an active participant.Cheers!

That is not how the rating system should be used at all We cannot make promises to other users telling them we will rate them positive BEFORE we know the content of their post. If is is not a quality post we can also not rate it at all.

busky5!I didn't want to know so far,who all had given me positive ratings and who it is who have given me negative ratings. But I was mislead by one post from another member and I thought,I could learn it too.Generally I see my ratings decrease whenever I post or respond in discussions under religion. There are some stubborn people who are strong in their ideas and can't digest any critics.Otherwise I don't face in decrease in my ratings.Cheers!

I think that rating a response no matter what its content is against what mylot and us, mylotters, want the site to be. Thus it is an irresponsibility towards everyone of us that take this site seriously

Hi ganesh Its really a nice idea to know when we are getting a +ve rating and when -ve.But what difference it can make other than making us unfriendly.I feel this is the place where we have freedom of speech ( we have to follow some guidelines ) always do the good thing and eventually good things will come to you. happy mylotting

You have given a good view.As far as we are doing good things, good things will follow automatically without fail. And if we know who marked us negative ratings then unnecessary fights and vengeance will be taking place and a good social networking site like mylot will not be a nice place as before.Yes!We have some freedom and at the same time we should not hurt others.Cheers!

I think it would be nice too, but we will never know, as I am not sure that there is a way anyway. Only in our oaverall rank would we know if we are being rated positive or negative. Mine has been the same for awhile now, and that is a good thing, as at least I am not being rated negative. I am not beeing rated at all, and that is fine with me. All I know is that some will rate you negative if you disagree with you, and according to the rules, we aren't allowed to do that as they hurt themselves too, but they probably don't think about that either. I don't think it is fair either for others to reat us negative, but it does happen. I rate positive mostly, but I do rate negative if a user posts referral links in the discussions. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Thanks for dropping in rosekiss!Well, the rating should remain a secret as like now.Otherwise there will be more conflicts within the members. Most of us would develop rage with other members who give us negative ratings.that will not be healthy for this social site.Thank god,you didn't get negative ratings. But I have suffered some and I clearly know where I get those from.It is under the religion heading. That is a highly sensitive area to touch.Cheers!

I don't know how to see the rating star.I don't want curiously to know.I think almost members may have positive to everybody include me.
