Wearing an eye glasses or contact lens, why? / myLot

i liek contact lenses coz i feel like my eyes are normal if wearing them.. though the problem is, sometimes i forget to take off my contact lens before i sleep.. they said its dangerous if you sleep with your lenses but my eyes are still ok so far, maybe it depends.. though im not wearing them for months now coz whenever i take them off, i feel like my eyes become more miserable and become dependent to lens.. right now seems that my eyesight is more clearer...

I prefer wearing an eyeglasses. i believe it is more risky wearing contact lense than an eyeglass coz it has direct contact with your pupils. Aside from that, contact lenses has higher maintainance than eye glass.

I have been wearing contact lenses for twenty years now and I have never faced any problems with them. Yes, I too have slept with my lens on for quite a few times…though it has not hurt my eyes as such, but I have definitely felt uncomfortable immediately after waking up…my pupils have felt red and sore after being under pressure of the eyelids…so nowadays, I specifically open my lens before sleeping.

I use eye glasses. This is new eye glasses recommended by my docter and still Iam not comfortable with this as earlier I have not used any glasses. BUt now i will try and continue to wear glasses for betterment of my eyesights

Hi. homeshoppers. I prefer to wear glasses for my eyes right now. In the past I have worn contact lenses. I enjoyed wearing them, but sometimes my eyes tend to get really dry. I did not like wearing eyeglasses once, but now I do now.

I have tried contact lens for a day. That day I suffered a lot with my eyes. I feel its much costly and its not suited for my eyes. The doctor said that I should replace it every month 'cause of my power. So I prefer glasses instead. I become used to it. Cheers. Happy Mylotting.

Hello i am not in favor of contact lenses, i use glasses made from synthetic scratch proof material, the power is graded, means i use one glass to see things at a distace as well as the near and mid range like my computer screen,, Thanks for sharing. Welcome always.
