yes i use paypal online too i used to have it attached to a bank account but they take out every little thing fees purchases etc from your bank. if u use bank account make sure u have the right amount in the bank and transfer it straight into paypal then make purchase. i bought a game cube for my son online and it took it out of my bank. it was $53aud however it turned out i only had 52 in the bank so my bank charged me $30 over draw fee for that then paypal took out a fee of $1.33 and yes my bank hit me with another $30 fee after all the fees etc i ended up paying $198 for the thing. i closed that account and now use prepaid credit cards online. i buy a $50 card then all i can spend is $50 thats it because its a prepaid u cant over draw. but i also found if something happens and you get refunded it goes back to the source where the money came from. after throwing away used credit cards and being refunded for some things. (which resulted in lost money) i now have another paypal account and i attach my prepaid credit card to mine send all the money to the other account as a personal payment then send it back to mine. that way if it does boomerang back it shows in my paypal and i can use it again not lose it. im not sure what country you are in but prepaid credit cards seem to be popping up world wide. have a look in your country you might find one. i pay a $5.95 activation fee for $50 & $100 cards and $7.95 for a $200 card. you use it exactly like a credit card it has the 3 digit security code etc and is a visa card. good luck i hope you can get them wherever you are

since you have your bank account linked it will take it straight from there Don't waste time transferring funds, paypal will pay the other person and they withdraw money straight from your account. I have done this many times buying stuff on ebay.

i tried that too but did not suceed. i think they only can transfer if you have a valid US account. but from Philippine bank i dont think that we can do that. i tried that a year ago but i dont know if it is possible already. so since i want to buy something on ebay or online i just save all my earnings and purchase it if i am financially ready already. but of course sometimes when my paypal is ready the item is no longer around. sad sad sad. hope you can find a solution to this.

you need to have debit or credit card for you to be able to link your paypal to your bank account or for you to become a verified paypal account .,
