Hey friends, have you ever found that you were Jealous of someone. For this you will need to check your heart very well. I never thought that I was jealous of anyone until one day when I came across someone who had really big teeth. Her smile was bright. I found myself thinking how did she get her teeth that white. I brush my teeth twice daily and try to keep regular dental check ups but my teeth are never as white as a piece of white paper. So finally i asked the girl how she managed to get her teeth so white. She flashed those old pearly whites on me and shared her secret. I was really surprised at what it was. Anyhow have you ever found that you were jealous of someone that might have had something more than what you had, like a better job, more money or a better house or car, or maybe even a better looking spouse, etc. there are many things that we could find ourselves feeling slighted over but the bible tell us not to compare ourselves to anyone because we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. There is no need to be jealous of anyone when we all can have the same things if we are willing to work for it. Now tell me about your experiences with Jealousy, now that I've let the cat out of the bag. happy mylot.

Jealousy, greed , selfishness are all part and parcel of every human being's life. We know it is bad, so keep it under check, let it not harm others. Sometimes it can be a blessing in disguise.

Thanks friend, it was a blessing because she told me what she was using so that I could get mine in check too. I supposed that I was feeling a little bit insecure because hubby was paying her too much attention. But I did see it as a blessing. I guess that's why there is an old saying that we should keep our friends close and our enemies even closer. Not that she was an enemy but it turned out that we were all friends in the long run. Thanks for your response. Happy mylot!

Hi citychic! I used to wouldn't admit to being jealous of anybody. I now admit that I have been jealous of people I felt were smarter than I am or seem to catch on faster than I do. It doesn't do any good to be jealous of other people, though, because you're actually hurting yourself worse than you are them. We are all unique. When we're jealous of other people, we tend to want to put them down to bring ourselves up. I've had to deal with other people being jealous of me all my life. However, I have learned when somebody puts me down in any way to bring them up by saying something good about them to make them feel better about themselves. I hope that makes sense. Kathy.
