Know a Band or Artist....?

....who is great but most people don't know who they are? Maybe they are a local band, maybe unsigned, maybe underground, maybe just getting started in the music industry? Please share general info, songs, album info, etc. about great bands that we should know about!!
And my own contribution to the conversation: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
Anyone heard of them?

I've heard of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and listened to a few songs a while back.
People never seem to know who I'm talking about when I'm referencing Steve Conte, even though he has done a lot of music for popular anime, and he is a member of the re-formed New York Dolls.

He is quite good. He's a wonderful guitarist, but he's also a great singer. He's the lead guitarist for New York Dolls. I heard about him years ago from some Cowboy Bebop fans. That's one of the anime soundtracks he contributed to.

I have not heard of the band you mention - yet - but who knows that one daythey might be a household name?
There is a band here that is causing a stir locally and they have just been awarded recognition in an international contest. They have been awarded the production of 500 CDs by a local label.
They are All About Kane and you can see and him them in my profile

They are an Italian band.
They formed in May 2008.
Five musicians who had been through previous musical experiences and decided to do something together.
I am very much aware of their progress because the drummer is my son
