No I'm not scared of the dark, at least not in my own home. When I am in a strange place the only thing I'm scared of is bumping into something and bruising myself all up. When my kids were little they slept with night lights but I don't remember them ever being afraid of the dark, the lights were there just so they could see if they had to get up and go to the bathroom.

i am one of those weird souls who is into halloween it is my version of christmas. as a result of this i am not afraid of things that allegedly go bump in the night. i also love horror movies, the dark does not bother me at all. there are sometimes though when i will watch a creepy movies then i am affected for a short period then it comes to pass. my 3 year niece does not like the dark at all she is deathly afraid of it! and we are very patient with her because i know what that sort of fear can be like and night terrors. i hope that she will outgrow the fear. we do not force her to confront her fear we just go with her wherever she needs to go and turn on lights for her too.
