Cooking or cleaning?

What do you prefer? To be honest, I hate cleaning with a passion! I just can't get myself cleaning unless my mom orders me to do so. Cooking on the other hand is so fun for me. I like making a huge mess and coming up with amazing dishes. Many times I tell my mom, "I cook you clean, deal?" That way I help her out and she helps me! :P I do wash my dishes whenever I use them, but when I see big piles of dirty dishes it just gives me a headache. How about you guys?

I love cleaning except for the dishes.. but 99.8% of the time I will NOT cook... my roommate does it.

It is nice to have someone who does one thing and then you do the other. I wish I could find someone like that when I move out! Cleaning to me is so boring, unless I put music on, but even then I get distracted!

I would rather cook than be forced to clean. I don't think there was ever a time when I willingly took up the task of cleaning up at home. I think when I have kids, I shall bribe them into keeping the house clean for me.

I seriously don't like it, and if I ever do it is because they made me or it was to help some of my friends. I don't know if I will bribe my kids, but I think everyone around the house needs to help in some way if they live there.

I'll take cooking over cleaning any day of the week ;) Although I don't really mind cleaning, I do love to cook.

Yes, me too! I leave the cleaning to other people in my family if possible. I do like cooking because my family likes what I do, and so I find it easier to just do it. I only cook for my mom though, my dad is a vegetarian and has his own meals that he does himself. He is always trying to watch what he eats.

hI , I LOVE TO EAT FOOD AND TO COOK FOOD EITHER. I PREFER TO CLEAN ALL MY COOKING STUFFS WITH MY OWN HANDS BECAUSE I LIKE TO USE THE THINGS HYGENIC. SO I ALWAYS WASH MY COOKING MATERIALS. I LOVE THE BOTH.

I wish I could do both, but I can't get myself to cleaning. That is one thing I would completly eliminate from my chores if I could!

The way I do it is if I'm cooking I clean as I go along. So when everything is done you don't have such a big mess to clean up.

Hello Lelin! I try doing that but I get too caught up in cooking that I forget about cleaning. My dad gets very mad when I don't clean what I use, he says it is so simple to wash that he doesn't know why I don't do it. :P I'm just too lazy!

I love to cook and I just hate to clean, just like you. I´m an old lady, but I´ve been like that all my life. I doubt that I´ll change. I´m getting a better cook with age and a worse cleaner. Once in a while I pay someone to make a big cleanup. And there are things not permited at home, like bringing the dog inside. That way I can manage. Dishwashers help a lot. I only wash pots and skillets in the kitchen. I don´t remember what I did before I got the dishwasher but I bet I had a headache as you do. Take care

Yeah, dishwashers do help a lot... I don't have one but I think they waste a lot of money aswell, I don't know. :P I would pay someone to clean my room alone, I am so disorganized because I am going to probably move. So the last few weeks I just put everything in boxes so it looks messy.

I do both cooking and cleaning all the mess after i cut all the ingredients. I have no option, I could not depend on anybody to clean. I do not like to see dirty kitchen and bathroom. It is my family practice to wash every plates after dinner than piling it in the kitchen sink..We help each other doing all the errands never depend on only one person to do the household task alone..
