who do you think is the best batsman in the world till now? and who do you think is the best bowler? I know you cant make comparisions of players from bradman era with the present crop. so lets just keep the period of consideration to 1989-2009. according to me the best is sachin tendulkar followed by peterson and ponting. and in bowling it is wasim akram

Hello, I can't tell you about cricketers from before my birth and nor can I compare them with whom I have seen. I started watching cricket from around 1996 or so and from then I am a big fan of cricket. From what I have seen I can tell you that the best batsman is Little Master Sachin Tendulkar. I am not saying this because I am an Indian but due to his abilities only. He is the only player who had dominated the Indian cricket and even the world cricket for a long time. He had held the Indian cricket team in one golden bead. He is an inspiration to all Indian cricketers in dressing room and further his desire to make runs is not yet over even after so many years of cricket. My best bowler is Glenn Mcgrath (Austrailia). He during his time is the best bowler along with some others like Shane Warne, Murlidharan. But what I like most in Glenn Mcgrath is his spot on bowling skills. He has got the capability that if you place a coin on the pitch near around good length area, he will bowl all his six deliveries right on that coin. Further if any team playing a match against aussie and need only 4 or 5 runs in last over with 5 wickets remaining then also aussie has got the hope to win if ball is in hands on Mcgrath.
