Lescott heading to City? Money or Success?

Lescott has been offered double wages to join Manchester City who are keen to break the Top 4 and are having a wild spending spree. Everton on the other hand aren't big spenders but are a well managed club with a pretty good ethos and are also close to breaking the top 4. Does Lescott want to go to Manchester City purely for the money or do you think he really believes they will have success? Lescott is good but I don't think he's worth £20 million, if I was Everton I'd take the money and run but it may look bad on their part after making a big statement earlier in the summer that no one was for sale. Lastly Everton seem keen on trying to replace Lescott with Senderos, I don't really rate the Swiss man, what about you? Who would be a more appropriate signing?

For money obviously. But staying at Everton won't do any good for either Everton and he himself. Too many controversy and transfer saga until he moved.

It looks like is is staying put after he played in Everton's win against Malaga, which is good for Lescott and good for Everton. Moyes has improved Lescott and Jagielka as players and got them both to the stage where they are part of England's World Cup plans. I think Everton's interest in Senderos is for two reason, firstly to cover for Jagielka at the start of the season, and later to cover for Yobo when he goes to the African Nations Cup after Christmas.

Hi dangaroo, Lescott is a good signing and he is totally a good defender. Man City on the other hand is a club with new ambitions. And they spend millions of GBP to fulfill their ambition. Lescott can got more if he joined the Man City revolution then stay with Everton. Money is a certain thing and success it on his way. Maybe Man City would not get the top four position this years but giving time, they will do sooner then later. And it is good for Lescott. Lescott is an ambition man and he will definitely looking to keep his place in first 11 in England squad as a permanent basis. And he can get it if Man City equal the money they spend with their position at the EPL table. Since the new season didn't started, we can only do assumption. We will know the real truth at the end of the season. Good luck to Lescott and Man City. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.
