Just having one of those days, how do you get ouf of that kind of mood?

I'm not in a bad mood. Just in a mood. kind of feeling blue... kind down and not in the mood for much of anything. Nothing happened today, just feeling blah... what do you do when you are having a blue day to turn it around? Help me turn my blue day into a happier yellow day

I've had days like that. I know how you feel. What I usually do is do something that I enjoy doing, whether it's reading, watching a movie, going for a walk, or something like that. I just do something that I enjoy doing. That's something that I would suggest you try.

hey dodo19. once i left work yesterday i started to feel a bit better. i took my time getting home yesterday. just walking slow and thinking. so thanks for all the great advice

I have those days as well. usually for me its music. I find me some really good music that touches the soul like some Jill Scott, or my gospel and let the music take me away... get you some earphones and block all of the outside out. I am sure you are to feel better afterwards...

music is great, and that helps alot. however right now i am at work and all i can use is the radio. i have great songs on my ipod that would help me snap right out of it but i can't listen at my desk

I get out of that kind of a mood by listening to my favourite music, reading a good book, talking to my friends on line all over the world, or on the phone, making out with my husband, and spending a great deal of time sitting at a nice patio table at my favourite coffee shop. :)

today is a much better day for me danish! i am hanging in there and i am smiling and feeling like i can do this today.. love the making out with hubby and sitting on the patio advice, thanks honey

Music! Whatever kind you like to listen to. For me it all depends. Sometimes it's a good gospel CD that I'll throw on and other times it's Metallica. LOL. Just throw on music and dance away. It's hard to stay blah when your singing and boogying around by yourself.

you are so right. music does really help alot. it's to bad that my damn ipod is not working. because i have some great gospel music on there. and some really good meditation stuff that always helps. i so have to get that thing fixed

i got that feeling along with my pms. Usually, if it's my day off, i try to take a little nap first, and then get in the shower just try to enjoy the warm water running from head to toe. usually that works.

my grandmother use to say when you are not feeling well or feeling down, that taking a shower and doing your hair always helps. she was so right

I turn to my friends on days like that. They always cheer me up and bring a smile back to my face! They are definatly a cure for the blues! Or chocolate i find helps lol. Or just spending some time alone sometimes if i want it. I find generally just going with what you want to do. Follow what your head is telling you to do and you will soon see sunny sky's

Me too momma. Me too. Mine has been going on for weeks and weeks with no end in sight. It sux but that's life or at least it's my life. Once I get to accepting things the way they are, I'll feel better. Hope you feel better too. Seriously, life is too short to be feeling like this, right?
