Why does Friendster.com allows posting NUDE Pictures?

as far as i know friendster.com was made to be a wholesome site to gain friends. what's happening now. while browsing the site i saw a lot of nude pictures everywhere, am i in the right site? or am i in an adult site? why are they allowing it now? i know that a lot of members in the site are still minors, what are they thinking? cant they control it anymore?
