Do you think generic cleaning products are just as good as name brand? I recently bout a knock-off Pine-sol from the dollar store, and I noticed it was NOT the same as Pine-sol and decided that generic cleaning liquids are not all the same! I am not a big fan of generic dish soap either, and I noticed that generic laundry soaps don't rinse out as well as name brands.

The chain of Canadian groccery stores that my husband and I use stocks something called (and I'm not kidding, this is a registered trademark) "No Name Brand." Everything is in trademark plain yellow packages, with black lettering, and they make everything from keenexx, to food, to cleaning products, to all kinds of stuff. Everything they make is great!

It is always a great bargain when you can find no-name products at a cheaper price than the brand names that are really just as good as the brands themselves. Unfortunately, I have not found many products that do the same job or is as good in quailty. But I am only referring to cleaning products here-I by tons of off brand food products-whatever is on sale at the grocery stores, and very few off label companies are not worth buying, as they are usually just as good in quality as the others.
