I have had a herniated disk in my neck for about 2 years.I see a doc that maneges my pain. The doc wants me to get the surgery.but I don't no if I want to go threw it. You have to go threw the side of your neck , take a bone out of your hip etc. I've talked to a few people that have had the surgery and the pain has not gone away.and some say the pain is worse. So I'm thinking the surgery is pointless. I take up to 8 pain pills a day and starting to wonder if Im getting addicted to the pills. That is just another problem to worry about what would you do.

Chiropractic treatment might help. Or perhaps accupunture.
