Yes, you should make it sure that you are not getting addicted to lottery. I have seen many people addicted to it and wasted a lot of money by investing on lotteries. Don't be a fool like that. You can participate by taking one lottery ticket once in a while. So, you don't feel even if you loose it. You might loose only ten or twenty rupees.

I am sorry for that. We should be very careful while dealing with lotteries. You don't consider lottery as a job or a place to get a lot of money at a time. You can participate in some lotteries without paying much like some newspapers or stores conduct lots. Participate in that and make sure that you are not loosing money. Thanks for the response.

I don't really like the idea of lottery - you anticipate and expect for days after investing on a ticket and then you finally become disappointed when the results are published. I know a state in India where many people are occupied in selling lottery tickets - imagine the craze there! I don't mind participating in games in community or social gatherings as the main motto is to have fun but otherwise i don't like the thought of buying lottery tickets and waiting for my luck to shower on me

I am very optimistic, I keep on telling myself that I have my luck. I've tried to join in a lottery, though I've also have not got the chance to win. But life has to pursue the chances we had. Someday, our luck will come. I hope that it will be sooner than expected. That's my experience in finding the luck I want to.

That is a good way to look at luck related things. I have participated so many lottery competitions, but never won. It doesn't mean that I will stop participating them. I will keep trying it and I am sure my time will come. There is a fun in having a lottery ticket and dreaming about what will happen if you win the lottery. Lol. Thanks for the response.

I did buy lottery tickets but I didn't win. No, not even an Alarm Clock or Fan that goes with small raffles for the benefit of some fund-raising. If I am doing for charity, of course I needn't bother about winning. But there have been times when I have bought lottery tickets: often out of compassion for the kids who sell them. I tell them I don't believe in luck of this kind being a possibility for me. Now-a-days I am interested, if at all, the lucky prizes that go with some book subscriptions and the like for, here even if you lose, you really don't lose. I am so happy that in India most states have laws against lotteries and other gambling exercises.

I have never bought a lottery since My state had banned lottery scheme in 2001 and I was a child at that time. Hence i never had an opportunity to buy a lottery although lottery is quite an active business in some of my neighbouring states. I love to buy a lottery but unfortunately i have never bought one so far. I cannot say that I have won a lottery but it happened to me when i was 7 when my uncle gave me a ruppee and get a lottery. I won Rs.3 for that one:-). Although Rs.2 is a peanut but still at that time I was very happy that because of me, my uncle was able to Win Rs.3/-. Ha Ha.. At that time, it seemed to be a great achievement by me:-)
