Training camp started this week for our Detroit Lions...

For those that dont follow football or NFL... Detroit Lions season last year was 0-16... yep they lost every game!!!!!
anyone who is into football nows how well the Detroit Lions do during the football season....
well this year they have new players and even a new staff as well and for the first time that I can remember --we are now actually seeing commercials to promote the Detroit Lions and this years season of NFL Football!! AFter last years season I am sure they are wondering if anyone will watch them..... there fore the promoting now would come in handy!!
Is your team now in training camp?? Are you starting to hear and see things about your favorite football player?? Does your city have commercials on your team? Are you looking forward to this years NFL season?

I'm from Detroit originally and my heart is always with the Lions even when they are pathetic! LOL! Last time I was there I got to work as a bartender at Coamerica Park it was really fun! They were just finishing Ford stadium and I never got to see it completed! Wish I could, But now living in Mexico and don't know if I'll ever get back there or not! I install assembly lines and if I ever get back to work I might get a chance! GO LIONS!

I havent been down to Comerica Park myself but I have driven past it and ate down at Hockeytown Cafe a couple times... I bet that was fun bartending there for a day--I wouldnt mind that at all!! wow living in Mexico has to be cool on its own.. and hey if you ever get back, not only do they have the Lions games at Ford Field, but they have concerts there during the summer--so there is always a reason to check out the new field!!

I ahve high hopes for the Lions this year. My husband who installs satalliets just put in a new system for the quater back coach. I really think this year they will win at least 5 games possibley even more.

really?? LOL, I am from here and not sure what to expect...I am not a huge football fan although I love to listen to it on the tv when hubby watches it while I either go through the sales papers or now spend my time on the computer....LOL
