Would you not like the person?

Would you not like a person if they were homosexual? wha if a friend told you he was gay would you stil be friends? If it was your best friend would you still be as close?what do you think og people that are gay?if you are gay do you get rejected alot?what do you do when you get rejected? fi you do. i know i get rejected alot, and i have lost many friends since i came out but i had to do what i thought was right.

It doesn't matter. Being homosexual does not mean that you're a bad person. Its just that you've realized who you are and just wants to express it.

I'm really sorry to hear that you've lost friends since you came out. It's sad that people can be so intolerant. I have quite a few friends and acquaintances who are gay, and I certainly don't think less of them for it. If anything, I have respect for them because I know that it takes some measure of bravery to be openly gay, especially where I live (the city I live in is pretty much the Evangelical Christian capital of the US). Even if you're a person who doesn't agree with homosexuality, I still think that it's stupid to reject someone based on that one character trait, especially if you've already been friends with them for a while and you know about their other good qualities. I have friends whom I disagree with on certain issues or lifestyle choices, but I don't stop being their friend because of it. But for some reason, a lot of people don't seem to be able to take that stance with homosexuality.
