my first barbie doll

I remember the first time my dad bought me a barbie doll was when i was in grade 3. i was so happy that all i did was playing with it. dress and redress. it was so much fun!! since then i probably have more than 15 barbie dolls, but i never felt as happy as when i got the first one.. :)
so, when did you have your first barbie doll? how many do you have so far? how do they look like? do you have ken, and the house as well??

I had my first barbie when I was 6 years old.I loved her to bits.I got a lot of clothes for her.I used to clog our bathroom sink and make her swim.she even has a make-up bed,complete with pillows and blanket.

I never had an actual Barbie doll. I had other 11,1/2 inch teen dolls, but never a Barbie. I wanted one when they came out with bendable knees but never got one. I also wanted a Ken doll... ended up with an off brand Allen doll, but never a Ken. Played the living daylights out of all my "off branders" tho.. never a dull moment and they did everything a "real" Barbie or Ken did, but but I guess that is what kids see... they just want to say they have a "Barbie".. and I felt really embarresed when my friends noticed I didn't have one. Made sure my daughter had a few Barbies tho... she wanted Barbie and the ROckers... so she got Barbie and the Rockers! I didn't want her to feel embarressed like i did.

i got my first Barbie for my third birthday, my grandparents bought her for me...Go-Go Barbie...she had this totally cool outfit with leather fringe and all of her joints moved so you could make her dance.
i still have all of my old Barbies and have i think 20 that are still in the boxes.
