Flood or drought?

United States

The weather in the US has been upside down and a bit crazy for months now...droughts or floods, hotter or colder than normal from coast to coast. What about you? Where do you live and what has your own weather been doing for the past 6 months? Is it normal for your area? Karen

hiya, at the moment it's not been that different in my area, bit hotter than usual but otherwise fairly normal. some bits of the uk have been much wetter than normal, with some floods, but glasgow is always wet anyway...

Hi Jb. Your Glasgow must be similar to our Seattle, WA, where it rains often, well except this year. And here in Michigan, it seems I've about frozen all summer, which is unusual. Always makes me wonder when things are off kilter across the country about global warming. Karen

That's understandable. I think most people have finally realized that global warming is not just a myth or a "maybe" thing.

hiya, yep, global warming doesn't always make things instantly hotter but it does lead to some strange weather. anyway think i've been going on about it rather a lot recently...

hi karen, its been so hot during day time and cold during night with constant rain and thunders during the night. our place have not experienced storm but the other provinces nearby have. Philippines is being visited by tropical storms every now and then but always we are spared in our place. we have flash floods in the low lying areas but nonetheless things are normal her. ann

Hello Ann. We have had weather like yours, but for only two days lol. Summer has felt more like spring or fall, unusual for us. In the US, many of the weather patterns all over have been off normal. Have a beautiful day :) Karen

Hi Kinnishababy. That is good! Ours has been chilly all summer and dry until yesterday when big thunder storms rolled through. More coming today and it's been very hot for two days. So finally, it feels like summer here lol. Have a good day! Karen
