A group of "harrased husbands from all parts of India will converge at shimla on the day of Indian Independence day (August 15) to declare their "independence from their wives". They claim that there are over 1.2 lakd harassed husbands committed suicide in the last four years only in India. They also claims that "all laws favour women and men hardly have a voice even when they are being harassed. The women can get away by acting as victims.

I do not know how a husband could lose the freedom that was reasonable or 'subject' by his wife? Husband and wife are bound in law and ethics of marriage, so that each party can not be free, such as before marriage. Marriage must be respected by each party.

Hi...hsofyan Thank you for responding in this discussion. I agree with you question "how a husband could lose the freedom that was reasonable or 'subject' by his wife?"Again your statement holds good that the husband and wife are bound by law and ethics of marriage, so that each party can not be free, such as before marriage, and the marriage must be respected by both party.Wish you many happy days ahead !!!
