Definitely. An injury could heal but an insult spoken to another can't be assured to heal in time. I always wanted to avoid insulting or offending other people's feelings through my words because this hurts more. This is also the reason why I choose the right words before saying it, because once you have said it, you can no longer erase it. And it will forever mark in the memory of the person you've hurt.
