It is hot, muggy and we dont have a/c...just a window unit a/c and it doesnt seem to be helping much today!!!! Storms came through last night, and the muggy heat didnt go away after the came through and they are saying that we can get more showers because of it!!! I have been drinking ice water and eating popsicles only it isnt working....my next choice is going to be a cold shower!!!! when it gets this way...do you take cold showers??

No, I don't take cold showers at all. I don't think I could stand them anytime. I don't like storms but you would think the rain would cool things off a bit, wouldn't you? I guess it makes a difference when you don't have a/c. Bless your heart! We will have some more hot weather in September but just think, it won't be much longer until cooler weather will be here. Hugs! Kathy.

thanks!! I am not really looking forward to the colder weather to come but we have been unseasonably cold for the summer and then yesterday we hit 96 and we are very hot and muggy this week... we have been lucky to not have to run the window unit a/c or the heat... that part has been very nice... but this week we will have to deal with it!!! thanks for the response and have a great night!! Happy mylotting.

I'm not looking forward to the cooler weather, either. I imagine it really gets cold up in Michigan where you live. I don't like extremes in temperature, myself. I don't like it too cold or too hot. I can't get out and ride horseback when it's below 50 degrees. Some people like to ride when it's this cold but I was taught not to. Horses can be very frisky when it's this cold and I've been hurt too many times to want to ride when it's like this. The director out at EASI where I volunteer said she never did fool with horses in the winter much, either. On the other hand, if it's too hot, like 90 degrees, it's not good for your horse to get him too hot, especially if he's an aged horse. It could make him sick. When I said that the cooler weather would soon be here, I guess I was thinking that some people might be glad to see it. However, some of us might be wishing it for the warmer weather again, lol. Kathy.

yes, I think some really do look forward to the cooler weather and I am not one of them ....but fall time is my most favorite time of the year... I love to be able to wear jeans and a sweatshirt --that is my most favorite weather!!
