Have you watched the last movie installment of the Harry Potter series? If so, what can you say about the movie? On my end, i find it good but some of my favorite parts were scraped from the movie. Like the burial of Dumbledore which i'm really excited to see on the big screen, but to my dissapointment it was scraped out from the movie. Sad!

I see. In my case I've read the novel and there are parts which were not included in the movie which i believe essential for the last installment. However, the movie is fine and good.

Yes, it is quite boring. It's not as colorful compared to the wold that JK Rowling created in the novel.

I thought that they needed to show the white coffin, and Dumbledore being buried with his wand...also....they burned down the Burrow! Why waste time adding a scene that takes away??!! They need the burrow for the wedding and the ghoul. Also....Tonks and Lupin. Ummm, they weren't together yet. That was the whole reason Tonks wasn't 'colorful' in HBP. And the reason for her patronus. It was her in the book who found Harry on the train...not Luna. AAAAAArrgh...can't talk this over with my hubby....he likes the movies..won't read the books, lol!

You are absolutely right. The book is much detailed and I stronly beleive that those details hold significance in the upcoming Harry Potter movies.

I have not seen the movie but personally I have not liked the movies as much as I have liked the books. I am a big fan of the Harry Potter books. Everything is explained nicely and the author has created a virtual world. It seems so real that while reading the books you feel like a part of that world. But the movies have not been able to generate the same effect. One thing is that the length of the movies is too short to cover the full book. So some of the major events have been cut out which should have been included. As I had read the books before watching the movies so the movies felt like superficial to me. Anyways I will see this part of the movie also. Hopefully it will be able to justify the legacy created by J.K. Rowling in the books.

Yes, you are perfectly right. If you will have a chance to watch the movie then you can clearly see that some important parts of the book were not included in the big screen.

I thought it was great! Sure they had to scrape stuff out, but a lot happens in HBP. I think they did a much better job than Order of the Pheonix.
