How much is too much for a pair of flip flops?

I would spend a couple of bucks on a pair, but if it's a good brand (such as Havaianas) then I'm willing to pay the extra dollar. I base how much I should pay for a pair of flip flops on comfort, look, and the pattern/design on the flip flops. What about you? How much are you willing to pay for a pair of flip flops, and what factors help you determine if you are getting a good deal or not?

i am willing to spend extra money if the product i am buying is really durable and comfortable.i find these traits on havainas slippers,i already have 2 pairs and still planning to have one.

Not much. I'm not a big fan of flip flops and only wear them at home, at the beach, or in the showers when I move into the dorms. I don't really care for the brand. I bought my flip flops at Old Navy where they have two pairs for five dollars. There were a lot of cool colors to choose from and I got a pink and green pair.

I love flip flops... mostly I wear it on a daily basic. I always look for good design and comfortable while wearing it, such as soft and flexible. I usually pay for mind around $12.
