Hi vathsala30, I have my husband's elder sister who enjoys cooking as the chef of our family. Moreover my husband likes to show his limited adept recipes once in a while Therefore I spend very little time in the kitchen. Sometimes I help to boil water or clean the stove or rearrange the dishes and other kitchen wears to make them looked rather neat and decent. That's why I have more time to have fun at myLot site after back from part time work Have a nice day

Thanks for the warm greeting vathsala Really glad to read your comment left here today. I never expected that you are more than willing to share your feeling here, in this a year old discussion. Seems that you still take good care of your old discussions Yeah, my husband's elder sister is the elder lady in our family. I'm really fortunate to have her living together with us. Her great interest in cooking helps me a lot in preparing meals. She is diligent as well in tidying the house. It's true that because of her I have more spare time having fun and interaction with all my friends here. Have a nice day

Hi Ikbooi, How are you? I am seeing you after a long time. Husband's elder sister means, definitely she must be an elder lady and accordingly experienced too and know the exact way of cooking things. When she shows interest in cooking, naturally you will have some more time to be with us in Mylot which gives great feeling to us too Have a great week end, dear friend

If every body is all around the house, we use to cook always, breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, or every minute, because all of us wants to eat, if i am only are here from home, i just eat, the food are prepared.

Hi preciousgem Really what you say is absolutely correct. We love to cook if all the family members are around and enjoy home made food otherwise we do not feel like preparing for only one person

Hello vathsala30 and welcome to mylot.com, hopefully you are enjoying yourself and getting active particapation in your discussions. I really like this discussion of yours becuase it is simple and straight to the point. When it comes to spending time in the kitchen throughout the day on average I feel as though I spend about three to four hours daily in the kitchen. This time includes dishes and cooking. I love to cook but I hate doing the dishes. Seeing that I live in a rather large family (there is eight children and there are two adult living in my household) anyways I hate having to clean up all those dishes.

I spend around an hour in my kitchen most days- i try to cook at least one homemade meal a day. I don't cook homemade meals enough, though- sometimes I just go to the nearest fast food place for dinner or lunch.

Hi virusxtreme It is good to prepare home made food coz it will be hygienic, tasty and family members relish it. Though the fast food place prepare tasty items, we do not know how hygienic it will be as i heard that they use ajinomotto for extra taste which is not good for health
