Niece helped me pack today for my move at end of the month

Do you have a system when you pack to move or do you just throw random items in a box. I am packing to move to a new house the end of this month and my niece came over today to help with some of my packing. I like to have things neat and in order. If my box is labeled bedroom linens that is all that goes into the box. I looked over to day as my niece was finishing up her first box and noticed all her box said was bedroom and she had everything in there from shoes to bottles of perfume off my dresser, she just walked around and found items to put into the box. I didn't say anything and thank God she only did three boxes, because once she left, I unpacked her boxes and repacked them. Is that wrong? Would love to hear how you pack when you move
