The bible says in Matthew 24:5 Do not be deceived, for many will come in my name claiming to be the Christ and will deceive many. I did my very first 7 minuste sermon at a bible study on this scripture. It is a clear warning from Jesus to his diciples to watch out, because there will be many people that will be here saying they are God, they are sent from God, false prophets and witnesses trying to trick you into following satan and not the true living God. It is easy for believer and non believers alike to be suduced into these false doctrines because they will sound right and seem right but they are infact wrong and will steer you away from God. The bible also says that my sheep know my voice and a stranger they will not follow. Are you one of Gods sheep? Do you know his voice? How can you tell when it is God talking to you?
