I'd like to know who uses it and are you actually making money from it. I'm really interested in it for just using the free phone number they give you since I do work on alot of get paid to sites. I'm looking for a free local phone number to use. Can anyone who uses it let me know if you've made money from the site? Here's a little more about it for those of you who might be wondering what it is... Brring is a free ringback service. With Brring you can upload your own music or audio files and personalize your ringback tone for your friends to hear when they call! You can use Brring as a second number, or for your social network. Each inbound call is supported by a short commercial announcement, so there is no cost to you at all. Earn rewards for helping to expand the Brring network, and helping tune the ads to best fit the interests of the friends in your calling circle.

All I got to say about Brring is STAY AWAY, STAY FAR AWAY! I used that service for a couple of months. And I quickly got the minimum of $10. I requested my cashout and then Brring sent everyone a company email broadcast stating that something was wrong with their computer system calculation and that the problem was fixed, and everyone's account was adjusted to reflect the correct amount. I had cashed out for around $12. After my account had been adjusted. I checked my account and it was a little over $4. Disappointed and upset highly. But I had a given the number out to all of my friends and family and it was tied to my cell phone. But I decided, that it was a computer error so I worked on another payout, but then none of my new calls were receiving the right credit. I contacted the company and no response. So I was out of my cashout of around $12 that I never received and afterwards, they kept changing the rules. So I dropped the account. Not too long ago, I received an email from Brring telling me if I still wanted to use that number that it was going to be a charge to use it. I couldn't do nothing but laugh in DISGUST. Stay away.

I had the same exact thing happen to me. I cashed out at $10 and sent many emails and never received a response or my money. Totally disappointed. :(

That's terrible, for the both of you. All that work and to not get paid. Well you obviously answered my question about being paid. I wasn't too concerned about that but now that you mention hdjohnson that you got an e-mail stating they were going to charge you to use the number that's even more disappointing. I've been using k7.net but they offer a 206 area code number which is not my area code. So alot of times I can't use that doing certain offers. Would you by any chance know of any other free or even cheap sites that offer numbers with your own area code?

I thought Brring changed how you were paid? I had a number with them from a while then the GPT sites started saying that you couldn't use voicemail only numbers for offers. Then Brring did something with how you were paid, like you couldn't get paid for incoming call or something anymore?

Oh I'm not really sure about how brring changed payments because I'm not familiar with the site. I've used a voicemail number for quite sometime now and the offers approve but it's not my area code. I know you can't use the voicemail numbers specifically when you are signing up for a gpt site but not on offers.
