Do you ever get nervous in front of a crowd?

Some people are just born to be in the spotlight,to be in front of huge crowds, reveling in all the attention. Well, not me. I used to have a really terrible stage fright that everytime I would go in front of the class or any assembly, I'd literally freeze. But in time, i have improved. Yes, I still feel awfully nervous ( I don't know If i would ever get rid of that) but I can talk in front of crowds now. It's the beginning phase that's really scary. But once I have already started talking and created a rapport with the audience, i begin to relax and the nervousness dissipates.:)
How about you? Do you get nervous in front of a crowd? How do you deal with it?

Oh oh.. I don't deal well with crowds.. Not at all... I get a bit whigged out even in a small group of say.. 5 people or so.. I can't stand being in crowded stores, etc either.. Not quite agoraphobic but sure getting close.. and stage fright.. ungh.. nope nope :s

I'm deathly afraid of going on a stage, haha. Either I stutter when I talk, say the word 'like' numerous times in every sentence (I'm from southern California), or glance down at the floor. It's true, some people are just naturals, they were made to perform and act on the stage. It's unfortunate that I'm not one of them.

Hi, karenrosesalazar. Yes, I wad like this as I was younger and I still am like this as of today. I can never overcome my nervousness. It is going to take some time to. I am just afraid of talking in front of a big crowd. It makes me very uneasy.

Hi there!
It was always a scary thing for me talking or performing in front of a crowd when I was in elementary and high school. I use to tremble from the start but as soon I have started the piece nervousness will subsequently be gone. However, when I was in college amazingly I recovered from that kind of fear and till now I should say I always carry myself with confidence in whichever crowd i'm into. Happy mylotting!
