Please suggest best Digital Camera in Range of Rs 10000?

Hi All, I'm looking for a digital camera. Which company should i go for Nikon, Kodak, Sony or any other brand. Can anyone recommend me a good camera in range of Rs. 10000?

I am not sure what the R's is but I just bought a DSLR, I went for a Canon 1000D with an extra 200m Lens, I love it and it gives good quality and is very easy to use....
