Can you advice me about the precautions against the Sine Flu ?

Here in Bangalore most people are panic about the disease. My daughters'school closed for one week.Anybody have any idea about what type of precaustion we have to take. I am worried about my kids. If any prevention is there I want to go for that.any advice or suggestion from any fellow mylotters ?

hii varghese, I am also from bangalore & facing the same problem,I am also worrying about swine flu, the best think I advice is to wear a mask on your mouth & nose as the swine flu virus inhales from out nose & mouth only & dont eat anything outside, even avoid going outside without any concerned reason and add me as friend if you want.. take care & " Be aware,not afraid"

Hi...joshi Thank you for your response in this topic and I am happy to find a Bangalorean here. I agree that we should maximum avoid the public transport system for a while and avoid eating outside. But in the streets, I am seeing more and more people wearing the masks day by day and it is psychologically affecting us. Wish you great times ahead!!! take care !!!

The best defense I know of is frequent hand washing. Make sure you wash your hands for AT LEAST 15 seconds with soap and water. And don't forget to clean under your fingernails. If you come in contact with someone who seems to be feeling sick, don't stand too close to them. Just don't panic.
