Spicy is the flavour where it will stimulate most of your emotion factor such as tear, hot, sweat and so forth.. In the country that we are living in, we basically categories the 2 kind of food to either spicy or hot.. The difference is spicy means there is lots of spice in the dish however it's not those streaming hot kind where we will have to sweat a lot, while HOT, is a term we use to show it's a very stimulating dish. As for myself, we are train to eat hot and spicy food since young, and our parents are able to take it very well too.. therefore, in my household, rice will be easily sweep off the pot, if we have things like curry (any type) and those spice food such as tandoori, or even just the sauce without the meat.. We eat from those big chilli like capsicum to those small ones which will surely give us some 'kick' in our taste buds..

No spicy foods for me, thank you! I don't like them either. My husband is a "hot sauce man." The man puts hot sauce on everything. I once asked him if I was a bad cook and he couldn't figure out why I was asking. I told him because he puts hot sauce on everything! He said he just likes hot sauce ...??

I like enough spice to give the food a good flavour, but not so much spice that it hurts me to eat it. I have had to ask my huabsnd to cook something with a lot less spice at time, because I just can't take the hot stuff. He loves it, so i ask him to cook things that he can add spice to, so that if he wants something hotter than i want it, he can do that for himself.

Yes I do like spicy foods but it should not be very hot or too spicy. Yes I do understand that people from other countries find to have too spicy foods. But India is known for its spices. Any food is good if it is prepared well and mild to eat.

I love spicy food...sometimes I feel like it doesn't love me, though. :( Usually I want it to be just under unbearably hot, like on a scale of 1 to 5, like a 4. But, I want like entire pitchers of water to drink!

I don't like spicy food either. Sometimes a good dish could taste really good spicy but then it would also be burning my tongue.....friendly piece of advice: Do not drink soda when trying to cool the burning flavor left in your mouth, it will make it worst.

I hate spicy food! that is why I cannot understand why most of the members in my family like to spice up their food and I am usually on the outs when it comes to this since I prefer eating sweets stuff than spicy. I just can't stand its taste on my tongue :(

I adore all types of spicy food from mexican to indian. I also love the food of thailand but my favourite is Korean. I spent over a year working in Korea and grew to love the heavily garlicked and picked flavours that dominate their cuisine. I ate kimchi every day and snacked on kimbap. Yum!

I am from India from where all spice trade started. What is normal food for us is spicy food of extreme nature to you. Love it or not, that is the only food I get at home. I some times chew raw chili, you know, to spice it up.
