Hi everyone. It is all about boredom. I get bored easily...The monotonous style I follow is to blame I guess... Bored of the current hair style? Have you been thinking to change it since along time? Do u wish to have a complete makeover in looks? Bored of cooking on a daily basis? Bored of the same type of clothes or even bored of the new one which u purchased recently and burnt ur pocket? Have you worn it a lot and want to get rid of it now? I recently cut my hair short...kept it short for 4-5 months and now i want long hair...I will have to wait years for that... How does boredom affect you and how do you tackle it?

yes i do get bored, and i change my hair cut quiet often, my mom keeps telling me that i don let my hair grow. whenever i feel bored i want to something with my hair and dressing, im a shopping freak.. it is not only because of boredom, but my style represents the mood i am in. that is when i m not in good mood, i will be so simple, and not bothered about my looks much.. i wont care even to have a very short hair cut or go totally bald.. lol. but i have never done it so far. when im happy i like to have pleasant looks.

I get bored at times as well but learned to make myself busy with things over the internet instead. I used to like going out and cutting my hair or buying new stuff to keep my busy. But nowadays i just make myself busy either with my son or have a snack.

I think I get bored of my hairstyle or cloths only when I am going to replace them with new cool ones. I mean, I get bored of my boot cut jeans when I get myself a new cool baggy pants and the same way, get bored of spiky hairstyle when I decide to grow long hair! Happy mylotting!

Honestly I am bored almost all the time lol, besides when my two kids are totally crazy and running around, keeping me busy. I am definitely for sure bored of my clothes, I haven't gone actual clothes shopping in over a year and my wardrobe is in dire need of a makeover!!! Also, I haven't gotten my hair done for about a year, and it definitely needs to be cut and dyed and I am SO bored of the look, it's making me sick haha!!! I get bored over pretty much everything because my life is the same thing every day, and all I do is work and take care of my kids, that's about it.

I would strongly recommend an immediate appointment with a salon and you should take atleast one or two hours to buy some new clothes. Dear, trust me u will feel rejuvenated... I have heard that when you become parents, strange things happen to your priority list...But you do take care of these and you will feel and look good.

Our hair is the most abused part of the human body. In fact, we put so much to our hair that causes damage, dandruff and other hair problems. Not to mention baldness. This is very true, whenever we get bored, want some change, and for ladies when they get stressed , they always would have to cut or do something with their hair. Hairstyle, rebonding, coloring, relaxing are some of the terms. If only our hair could complain.. Out hair is our crowning glory. Not only with women but also with men. Someone always looks nicer with a well-combed, well-trimmed and well-styled hair that fits someone's facial features. It's advisable to change your hairstyle to break monotony but we should not overdo it. Of course, we should not do it for the purpose of breaking the monotony alone. If it makes us feel better about ourselves, then it's serving it's purpose. We should treasure our hair like our most precious possession. Remember, we cannot regrow something that is lost. Otherwise, believe me, it would cost you a lot of penny to do a hair transplant. And most of all, natural is still the best. So you better think again before you decide changing your hair style.

Do you get bored very often? Hello Malpoa, yes i get bored very often with myself. I used to be able to get my hair done for free because I had friends and family that worked in the hair biz. They would keep my hair looking very nice. But since I moved away from them I have to do my own hair. I have worn it in just about every style there is. So now I'm slowly running out of ideas with hair. I too have cut it shorter now wish that I hadn't of done it. My clothes need help too. As a matter or fact I could use a total makeover.....It's a shame they don't give away many free makeovers to people. The way that i try to deal with it is to make small improvements, one at a time. Take care and have a happy day in spite of everything. Happy mylot.

Oh good that you got people in family to do new hair cuts every time u approach time. Atleast you know these people who do some fabulous work. The last time I went to a salon, they cut my hair in such a weird way, I had to go to another to mend it hi hi hi. I go with the apprehension about it ending all well and come out with worries...I guess I am a difficult person to please...

Hmmm that is a serious problem...I mean the comparing!! There is a saying which says grass is always greener on the other side...When my mother learns of my latest shopping expenditure, she says this to me...coz I also complain that my dresses are already outdated hi hi hi

When I was a student, I found not enough time to prepare proper meals everyday. So very often I would cook a big pot of mixed food (meat, vegetable, potatoes, and some spices) and it would last for two to three days. In other words, I ate same food for lunches and dinners for half of my weeks. My flatmates got bored with watching same food on cooker and its dull smell. But I saved tones of time to do my assignments. There was a purpose of doing it, in this way I never felt bad appetite and quite enjoyed my nutrious and time-saving pot. I am a bit rubbish with my hair style and the taste of clothes. It seems I can never find a style which suits me. So much so that, I don't care what's on my head and what clothes I wear. My mum and my friends have seriously commended on this and, although they have been very discreet, I have been suggested to take some proper day-out shopping. However, I am too lazy to make change. If I don't look at mirror, how would I be bothered with a same looking person everyday? Well, people around me are. So every few months I will buy one or two clothes just to make them happy. And if my hair gets too long for me to clean, I go to hairdresser so I am free from people's concern for half a year. The only thing which would make me bored, I guess, is probably lack of good TV programmes or exciting movies on Friday nights. :P

Oh my...u ate the same food continuously for two to three days...I find it difficult to eat the same food again and again...while i lived with my mom, she used to make diffrent types of snacks, dishes every day. after marriage when i started cooking and trying new dishes or those which mom used tomake, i eventually learned tht it was a tough job. so now i stick to ready to eat items for breakfast...atleast breakfast...I mean ready to eat but diffrent items like puffed rice, corn flakes, oats, bread...so that i dont get bored.

I do get bored of my clothes very often, but no hair.Every Friday,I will go to shopping malls to buy new clothes. The habit becomes the way I relax and release pressure. Although some size of clothes with brands which I bought are not fit me,I bought them without hesitation.Because I think their styles are cool and are in fashion.

I agree that shopping is a good pressure and stress releiving activity. I myself feel good when I buy things for myself. Even just hopping around in a mall when bored all helps, doesnt it?

Eh, sometimes I get bored, but it took me forever to grow my hair out this long, so I'm not cutting it for several years at least. It's such a pain to have long hair, though...the tangles, you use a gallon of shampoo and conditioner every month it seems, it clogs the drain...it's a mess! Clothes, I'm not picky about at all. Jeans and a t-shirt are good enough for me no matter what.

Boredom isnt a part of life for some people, but I guess it is part of life for all in general. all people get bored with something at any stage of their life. It is quite natural to be bored of a repetitive routine.
