PTC sites that pay more than 1 cent?

What do you think about the PTC sites that pay more than 1 cent per click that have the payout that is more than 10 dollars some even have 1000 dollar payout. Do they really work? Have you tried any? To me they seem too good to be true but there are times that I feel like joining but I really don’t want to be wasting my time. I have had the bad luck to be a member of a site that at the end I find out that I will not get paid. If you have be a member of one of those sites I will love to know wish one worked for you.
