Worst week ever!!

Okay folks, I think this may very well be the worst week I've ever had. Monday was my first day back from my vacation from my full-time job. I was a caregiver at a local assisted living facility. We have many different duties to help the elderly live their day to day lives. From reminding some to take their medications, to showers and helping with dressing, or just serving meals. After being back to work for about three hours the boss called me into her office. I knew already that I messed up with one of my medication reminders the Thursday before I went on vacation. This paticular resident takes the same meds every day. I accidentlly grabbed the friday med slot in her planner instead of Thursdays. Then two days later I forgot to give a resident a noon med reminder. I never even realized I did this until the boss brought it to my attention. Okay, I'm not as incompetent as it sounds. Everybody makes mistakes on medication reminders now and then. The last mistake for me was clear back in November of 08'. So I was doing pretty good for a while. Anyway, my week started out with me getting fired from my job. Of course I was very upset. I was balling my eyes out right afterwards and had a stress headache for the next two days. My two biggest worries were how are we going to make ends meet now when we just barely made it before. My next worry was where am I going to find a job to make up for the one I lost in this economy. Again that was Monday. On Thursday I was picking up some blankets to get some washclothes from underneath them and I felt something in my back pull and pop. I walked all bent over to the living room, got to my knees with the support of our couch and crawled to the chair, hoping that I could use it to get back up and sit down. Every time I tried I had a sharp pain run through my back and I couldn't move. I eased to the floor onto my side. The pain everytime I tried to move was unbarable. My daughter had to call 911. Every little movement was incredibly painful. The emt's had to put me on a board and then lift me on to their cot. That hurt! Then at the hospital they lifted me with a sheet from the emt cot to the hospital bed. Again more pain!! Going to the bathroom wasn't fun either. I had to use a bed pan and had a heck of a time getting into the position to use it and then overflowed it because I had to go so bad. The nurses had to change the sheets while I was still in the bed. More agonizing pain just rolling side to side so they could do their job. They gave me muscle relaxers and a pain pill and two pain shots and sent me on my way. Today I've been in bed all day trying to recuperate. Back still hurts. But at least today if I take things really slow I can move around a little. With the way my back is I couldn't work my part-time job. Which means even less income for an already bad situation. I sure hope next week goes better for me.
