Well I'm kicking myself in the behind right now. Well this morning I logged in to one of my very favorite PTC's called Hits4pay that I have been working since 2007. I h ad 8 ads to click so I did that. Well the logout button is located right next to the delete account button, and without realizing it I accidentally hit delete account instead of logout. I didn't even know it until I received an email "confirmation of account deletion" I was like WHAT?I immediately responded explaining what happened and practically begged them to fix it. I've worked so hard at that site and I was just 54 cents shy of reaching payout not to mention all the referrals I had. I'm right now praying that they can somehow fix my account because if not then I will have to start all over. Have you ever accidentally deleted your account somewhere? This is so disheartening because I was so close to yet another payout and now all my work might be lost. I think they need to relocate the delete account button, or at least before completely deleting ones account send a confirmation email where we have to click a link to complete the process. I know it's not their fault it was mine for not paying attention, but this would protect peoples earnings in the future. Please pray they can fix my account

I surely hope they can fix your account. I have done that before, accidentally deleted an account but since I don't do very well getting referrals I did not have that much to lose. I just recently joined hit4pay a few months ago and was hoping it was a good one but if you have been with them since 2007, they must be doing something right! I think it is a very bad idea to have the logout button so close to the delete button because anyone can make a mistake like that.

I will pray for that as well my friend. I almost did that too as I am a member of that site and just recently gotten paid. Since I have no referrals it took em a while to get that payout. I agree there should be some changes made to where that button is loctaed. Please let me know what happens.

I kind of gave up on the site myself. Can't do it at work, not enough time at home. But nope, never done that. And I really hope they do fix it for you. that would really suck being that close to payout!!!

Hi olydove, First of all sorry to hear this from you and I believe that your account will not be deleted. They had sent you an confirmation mail and you had replied. Right? Then dont worry much for the mistake you did. i actually blame the web designer of that sire for this type of foolish building. I believe that many users would have done this mistake already. I believe that your hard work on that site will not go in vain. They will fix your problem soon. Take care. Just relax..

Hi there again olydove, It's Monday afternoon, so thought I'd check back on this discussion of yours since you started it Saturday to see what, if anything you have heard from Hits4Pay. Hopefully you did hear back from their customer service folks and that they were able to re-instate your account with them. When you get a chance, would you please be so kind as to give us an update? By the way, if unfortunately the issue you had with them hasn't nor won't be positively resolved in your favor, there is a site I'd like to share with you in case you're not aware of them. It's place to report not only survey but other types of companies that are "supposed to" pay people for doing things online, but don't. When a person has a dispute with said site, they can report it and they investigate it for you. The website is called surveypolice dot com or maybe org, but I think it's com. Take care, firefox333
