I will become a father soon. Our first baby is expected to come out of this world this coming December. I feel so happy and at the same time worried. Worried because I'm not sure if I'll be able to raise him/her properly. Maybe it is natural to feel this way. What do you guys think?

Congratulations! Parenthood was not born with but each day is learn. I would encourage you to look at the mistakes you will be making and learn from them. Look at even the mistakes that your parents have made and not do them. In life we learn from others and also from our own mistakes. You are now feeling anxiety but always remember to dedicate your fatherhood in God's hands it is capable and you will be ok. Take care.

oh what a nice say! yeah you're right being a father is learning. If you go back to your past and look on each mistakes including your parents you should be able to cope up with your baby! your lucky because you have only one baby! not like me, my wife will give birth of our twins this coming October, yeah I am worry about where we will get our finance, but worry gives you only stress and stress is bad!v just remember God is always around and watching us! Child is a blessing and never regret having it! I am too excited to hold my twins! to think we were only 21 and 22, this is our first babies!

I can only say from my experience that the atmosphere in your house should be pleasant.Try to take good care of your wife and do all the activities that put her at ease.It is natural to be worried, but with patience you can overcome the present situation and prove to be a good father to your child by providing all necessities to mother and child.
