We haven't had much choice in Iceland until recent years but all my cars have always been petrol. Diesel cars are becoming more popular now, even after the price of diesel more than doubled, it's still cheaper than petrol. We are quite advanced in Hydrogen but so far the car dealers only import very few Hydrogen ready cars and they are mostly for buses, trucks etc. Some of our garbage collection trucks run on fuel made from the garbage. I think that is a good idea. I think in a few years we will be using more Hydrogen for our cars.

i will not go for CNG/LPG/Hydrogen until proper safety features are in place.

The cost of CNG/LPG is very less. So, if we see cost wise it is good. But when taken the performance of engine into consideration, LPG/CNG is very bad since it reduces the pick-up of the engine
