Using synthetic motor oil with older diesel engines.

Can I use synthetic diesel oil type 5W40 API A3/B3 with my Citroen Xsara 1998 model.

what type of oil you been using in the past? and what your car manual says?

If I were you I wouldnt change anything on a diesel, don't fix it if aint broken. Diesels don't like change a lot and might not be the best odea. Unless you have a problem you think the oil will fix I reccommend you keep using what you have been
