dogs on furniture and removing dog hair from furniture

I allow my dog on my furniture, when he's in the way I tell him to get down or move and he submits and goes on the floor or to his dog bed. He has these really cute stretches he does and lays in the most awkward positions sometimes, like on his back with one or two paws straight up and his belly resting on the back of the couch. What does your dog do when he's on the furniture? Also, the pet hair resulting from being on the furniture. I can get most of it with the vacuum, but some of it gets magically woven into the fabric and has to be removed manually. I have also used tape and combinations of arm and hammer carpet fresh for pet hair powder stuff and then vacuuming it. There is one total pain in the butt spot for hair though... in the cracks between the cushions, holy crap is this a collection spot! I use the attatchment nozzle to go deep in there but I can never seem to get all of it. I have two couches, one where the cushions all come off and another where the cushions are sown in place. The sown in place cushions are the freakin worst cause I can't move the darn things! Any suggestions?

same here too, everywhere there is dog hair, living room, and bedroom and everywhere wherever my dogs will go... sometimes it sticks on the sofa and sometimes form a furball under the furnitures... especially under my bed! sometimes when i wake up, my dog is sleeping at the foot of my bed... i removed dog hairs on sofa and cushions with my hands... and a wet cloth, vacuuming wont help.

I wish I had ideas for you - I have the same issues!!! haha my dog sleeps on our bed on his back with his feet straight up in the air! I love it. I do wonder how dog hair gets EVERYWHERE! I wish there was a button that I could push and all the dog hair would just go away. I have to wash our quilt 4 or 5 times to get the dog hair out.
