Yes. I recently saw its national flag and I thought it was quite nice. I do know that ur country was occupied by erstwhile USSR in 1940s or so, and for a brief period Nazis were there too. Russians regained possession, and u all are very very young nation, having proclaimed ur independence. :-) Nice having u here. :-)

Not much but it was under the USSR before the split. Then I have a few postcard of Lithuania through a postcard exchange. It's really beautiful and there are interesting things you can explore over there. And since I can't really go there, I just have to rely on the postcard exchange to get to know the country secondhand.

My husband and I visited Lithuania about a month ago, and we have been to Vilnius and Kaunas. Next time I hope to visit Klaipedia and Siauliai, Hill of crosses and maybe some other places. Where are you from? I like your country very much. There are many beautiful buildings in Vilnius and I enjoyed walking around in the streets. I also liked Kaunas. We only spent one day there, but it was interesting to walk around and visit some of the different places. I enjoyed the food we had. I didn't get a chance to eat a zeppeliner, but I had many other delicious dishes.
