How does How I Met Your Mother compare to F.R.I.E.N.D.S?

I've watched a lot of TV shows but HIMYM and FRIENDS are still my top favorites. Then I read a post on the internet which said that HIMYM was just a rip-off of FRIENDS! Though it may seem like it, I'm pretty sure I've had louder laughs with HIMYM than FRIENDS. What do you think?

I don't watch much himym but that blonde guy is so funny. For me Friends is better, I didn't laugh out loud with hymym but I didn't pass 1st season yet. It's preatty good though. You are lucky to like a series from nowadays, I miss Friends.

Undoubtly,Friends is a maker of soap opera.I had watched all the episodes of Friends over and over again.

No..no... definitely Friends! I dont think that we can even compare those two. HIMYM doesnt even near the popularity that once Friends able to achieve. But I also like HIMYM in a level lesser than friends. I should say that characters in HIMYM not as natural like in FRIENDS. Or maybe becoz the gank in friends acting better, i donno.

i didn`t watch HIMYM before,but I love FRIENDS so much,in our country,some TV shows are similar with some classic American soap opera like Growing Pains,I dont very like them.
