we heard or said this statement in many situations, mostly difficult situations.
regarding me, i blamed myself many time for actions i carried out but it was too late, as they say remorse is not helpful

Yes even I do that. The last time I heard this was when I was trying to apply for higher studies to aparticular college. all the year I was awaiting for the time to come so that I could send application but it totally got off my mind and I missed the date. I have wasted another one year and now I dont think I will be able to pursueit for another 3 years coz of some other commitments. I blame only myself, it was all my fault. It was very sad and shocking for me to learn that I was not going to make it.
