Do Goldfish Sleep?

I'm not sure how we got into this discussion but Alok and I are wondering whether or not Goldfish sleep, how they sleep, do they have eyelids.....just a little sample of the sweet romantic conversations we have....

i have 2 goldsfishes for almost 8 years, they've grown into huge goldfish, maybe the largest in the world i think. they are as big as my fist!! when they become older and older, they sleep much often than before. So i am sure goldfish can sleep. but seems they still breath when sleeping. we human also breath when sleeping too..
