Did it ever occur to you, that a friend whom you think needed an advice responded with "I didn't ask for your advice!" How did you feel? Did you feel that your friend care less to you or you would understand his situation?

when u decide to advise someone ,u have to select the proper time and it is better to prepar your advice first but take care ,your advice must be sincere without hypocrisy or lordiness

I would feel intimidated if my friend yelled at me like that. I understand that sometimes my friend might think he could handle it himself and need no advice. But I give my suggestion just because I care about him.So when I am yelled because of giving advice, I will expect an apology. Good day.^_^

I am with you of asking for an apology when your friend yelled at you because you gave an advice that he didn't ask. We may feel intimated but we did that because of love to our friend right? Thanks for posting!

Well, I look at it this way - if someone asks for advice, I am always more than happy to share my opinions or experiences, but ultimately it is their choice whether or not to take the advice I have given or what to do with it. I decided long ago never to get angry that someone didn't take my advice because that has been done to me and it isn't a nice feeling. If I think someone needs my advice or would benefit from it, I try to ask before saying anything. Sometimes they don't want the advice, and that is their choice. If you go and give it anyway and they tell you to mind your own business, well, I hate to say it, but you deserve it.

I definitely agree with you. There are people who wouldn't take the advice because they didn't ask for it. Thanks for sharing.
